2016 Planner
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]When I went looking for a 2016 planner, I couldn’t find one that really worked for me. So, I decided to design my own. But first, I had to determine what I wanted to be in the planner. I started with the obvious and moved on from there: Calendar, highlighted holidays, friends and family birthdays, the ability to see the month at a glance but also have some room for notes for each individual day. I also wanted space for notes and room for a monthly goals list. Then I wanted to add in areas for program tips, tricks and shortcuts. Those are the sort of things I’m always looking up. If they could live in one single area, that would make life so much easier. (translating fractions to decimal; using cross reference in InDesign to find where paragraph styles have been used, etc.) I also wanted some individual project pages where I would jot down some notes and keywords. And, finally, a section of lettering guides so I could practice whenever I wanted.
The planner is 5.5×7.5 inches and has 238 pages bound using a 1 1/4 inch antique silver O-wire. The cover is straight-up Davey board with a sheet of transparency printed with the year in black.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][minti_image img=”15892″][minti_image img=”15890″][minti_image img=”15884″][minti_image img=”15883″][minti_image img=”15888″][minti_image img=”15887″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
